Our company Ériu intends to place a value back on homegrown 100% Irish Wool by creating beautiful luxury handmade pieces drawing from ancestral inspiration, specifically from our grandmother's designs, created with a modern feel. We have created an entirely sustainable and circular design to our product with every element considered. Wool is a naturally circular product and with our meticulous local sourcing from our own farm and around the country, we place a value on our farmers by paying a good price for their wool and incentivising them to grow and maintain their flocks of the select breeds we use. We have created a new initiative, a fair trade network that we have patented "Farm to Yarn". In the face of a declining wool industry in Ireland which has tragically happened over the past few decades, we are forerunners in this area. We have taken care with all of our packaging so every single element is recyclable or compostable, even plantable.
