Wren and Mabel

As a fashion designer I am hoping to make change in the fashion industry in Ireland by creating children clothes designed and made in Ireland using Irish made fabrics. I want to create heirloom pieces that will be used for generations with an emphasis on sustainability. I also want to teach sewing skills to a whole demographic who want to learn to sew but have no classes available to them whether this be adults or children in the education system. I believe by showing people how to sew will help them be more sustainable and help eliminate the throw away society we live in as people will have skills to alter, mend and make clothes themselves.
